DEPENDENCY

Zena Krishnoo

never do you
depend on someone
so much so that
you’re completely reckoned

your shadows are like sorrow
that follow you along
that are always in bright times
and leave when bright is gone

don’t reckon on the shadow too much
that leaves you in primes
in bright it’ll stay forever
and leave in dark, black times
